We Are Not Alone!

Sometimes words are not necessary.

An injured schoolgirl who escaped from a seized Russian school holds a cross in her hand in a hospital in Beslan, North Ossetia, Russia, Sept. 3, 2004. A three-day standoff at the school turned into a gunfight between Russian commandos and Chechen militants holding hundreds of hostages. An official said the death toll could be far more than 150.

This could be my son.

Democrats Can’t Add

Kerry and crew have been complaining about all the jobs that have been lost during the Bush administration. So, I decided to do a little research. The Bureau Of Labor Statistics maintains a very nice database of figures concerning the American workforce. Check out this chart…

If you notice the Jan. 2001 figure you’ll see 137,790,000 people employed. Now jump over to Aug. 2004. Here we have 139,681,000 employed. Now I’m not a rocket scientist…but the number is LARGER. Indicating to me that MORE people are employed now than were in 2001. If you jump back into Clinton’s regime (back to Jan. 2000), you’ll see that there is a net gain of 3.12 million employed people.

Am I missing something here?
